Night Lights Event Official Statement

Night Lights at Texas Motorplex on Saturday has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 3rd.

Original Event Date:
Saturday, April 4th, 2026
New Event Date:
Sunday, May 3rd, 2026

Hey Night Lighters!

Night Lights at Texas Motorplex has been rescheduled from Saturday, April 4th to Sunday, May 3rd.

Safety and guest experience are always our top priorities. Unfortunately, Saturday’s weather is not cooperating:

  • ⛈️ Scattered thunderstorms all through the evening → not safe for guests
  • 💨 Winds gusting up to 20 mph → unsafe to launch lanterns
  • 🌧️ Rain showers in the evening becoming more intermittent overnight → not an enjoyable experience

Based on these conditions, it would not be safe or magical to move forward Saturday.

What you need to know…

🎟️ Your tickets automatically transfer to Sunday, May 3rd

If you’re still planning on joining us, there’s nothing you need to do — simply bring your ticket (your original tickets still work) and join us Sunday, May 3rd.

Want updated tickets with the new date printed?

New tickets will be available 10 days before the new event date. (Not required—your existing tickets will scan as usual.)

Need a different option?

If the new date won’t work for you, you MUST submit a request for one of the following:

🚨 The deadline to request any one of the following options is: April 11, 2026

  1. 🎟️ Transfer to another Night Lights event in 2026 (limited options remaining–no transfer fees)
  2. 🎫 Hold your tickets as a credit for the Night Lights 2027 season (tickets must be used in 2027)
  3. 💸 Request a refund - only if your order contains Ticket Protection (Refunds will be processed STARTING April 12, 2026. Refunds typically take 3-5 days after this date to be completed.)

*If you don't submit a request before the deadline, it will be assumed you will attend the rescheduled date. All requests must be submitted through the Account Dashboard before the deadline. Please only make a single request. Multiple requests will result in a significant delay, or errors to your order. These requests are only valid for those who purchased tickets to a rescheduled event.

As you make a request, please understand we are working through the requests as quickly as possible. You should receive an email once your request has been processed and is complete. This typically takes 3-5 days after the deadline depending on the volume of requests received. Thank you for your patience.
