Similar to a sporting event or concert, Night Lights has a no refund policy.
However, we understand that things can happen outside of anyone’s control — illness, family emergencies, travel disruptions, or even bad weather. While we can’t offer refunds on standard tickets, we do provide Ticket Protection as an optional add-on during checkout for guests who want extra peace of mind.
As a weather-dependent event, Night Lights may occasionally be rescheduled due to inclement weather, including high winds, burn bans, or rain. We’ll always do our best to provide advance notice and accommodate our guests.
Ticket Protection gives you the flexibility to cancel for any reason — including illness, family emergencies, travel delays, or event reschedules — and receive a refund as long as your request is submitted at least one day before the event.
If you’re concerned about unexpected changes, unforeseen emergencies, or the chance of a reschedule, your best option is to purchase Ticket Protection when placing your order.
New for 2026: In limited cases, orders without Ticket Protection added at checkout may still be considered. If approved, Ticket Protection may be added retroactively, however at a higher price. The cost (plus an additional fee) may be deducted from the refunded amount. Eligibility, pricing, and approval are at our discretion. Please reach out to Customer Support for more information. *Restrictions apply and not all orders are eligible.
Ticket Protection is an option you can add to your order during checkout that will allow you to claim a refund, for any reason, if you are unable to make the event for which you originally purchased tickets.
If you purchased Ticket Protection, it will show on your order receipt. If you can’t locate your order receipt, you can log into the Account Dashboard. If you purchased Ticket Protection, you will see it below your order.
Ticket Protection must be purchased for EACH ticket that you'd like to protect — in other words if you place 2 separate orders and only 1 of the orders has Ticket Protection added, then only the tickets in that 1 order will qualify for a refund.
Ticket Protection can be purchased during checkout with your tickets. You may be able to add Ticket Protection at a later time, but this will incur an additional fee.
Ticket Protection allows you to claim a refund for:
Ticket Protection does not include a refund on the price paid for Ticket Protection ($10 per ticket), Processing fees, Transfer fees, or any other fees not listed above. Ticket Protection does not include coverage for any other personal expenses including but not limited to travel, gas, flights, or hotels.
If you are redeeming tickets with a credit, Ticket Protection is expired, event if it was added to your original order. Ticket Protection expires at the time you request a Ticket Credit instead of a refund, meaning we will not issue refunds on tickets that are being held for a future event.
If you did purchase Ticket Protection and you'd like to request a refund, your refund request MUST be submitted BEFORE the event date.
If you purchased Ticket Protection, you can log in to the Account Dashboard and click the "Refund Tix" button below your order.
